Beads and Noodles

I have some really fun news!! Yesterday, I was commisioned to do my very first custom order...It consisted of 10 sets of beads (each set is 15 beads). It was requested that she have her beads in 2 weeks time..but I just got so excited that... I am already done...All I need to do now is apply the matte finish, which I have never used before..so I think I am just anxious to see how they turn out..This is a picture of the beads hanging to dry..It is out of focus and the lighting is no good, but, maybe you can get the picture...






I probably would not have been done today if my dog (a poodle named Bailey) wasn't clip-clopping around in the living room at 6am...his clip-clopping around that early means that a poop is imminent and we need to get in there. I could go on and on about Bailey, but I will spare you the details. I will just say that he is old and not doing so well. His health has taken a rapid downturn in the past few months. I won't let myself get upset about it now..I already had a good cry about it last night.

All in all, it was a good day. I made some noodles tossed with olive oil, roasted eggplant, squash, and artichokes. It was really tasty. I ate mine cold..my (almost) 3 year old wanted hers warmed up. She said the cold noodles "taste like poopy" ...What? I didn't think so at all...
