A Date, first haircuts, and snow...oh no!

My husband and I on Saturday night:

We will be married 10 years in September, sometimes I look at us and think..where did all the time go? But, I know, it's there..in memories, in our children, in pictures - I love him so much.
Anyway, we went out to dinner and wandered aimlessly around some stores...kid-free (my parents were babysitting) and it was wonderful!
Earlier that day, the girls got their first haircut:

They had so much fun..and the best part - the lollipops - of course!
And today, we woke up to 2 inches of snow..and it is still going..

I may have grown up in the Northeast...but I am definitely now, without a doubt, a southern girl. It has been a long, cold winter...We had our first measurable snow on December 4th.. and now, it is almost March...and we get it again..what? Why? No! I am ready for shorts, flip flops, a floatie, and a pool...
....I'm summer dreamin'....how 'bout you?

Oh my gosh you aren't kiddin! Why has it been so cold? We are 6 days from March! I bet the girls love the snow though.. I can't believe how much they've grown. I ask myself where the time has gone too.. like when did I become a Grandmother?!?! It really does slip by fast doesn't it.

I've been summer dreaming since November:)

10 years! Crazy! I still remember meeting Bobby right before you guys got married. It was at the D&D on Barnum. LOL.

Your girls look SO cute with their little matching hats on! I can't wait to have kids so I can do that to them too:) Glad you all got to get out on a date! Kids or no kids, when you're settled that just slips by so often. And yay to snow!

It's nice you got a date night! The girls look so cute in their snow outfits! The weather has been really odd this year but we're still getting our normal rain. I'm ready for spring too!

You too are the cutest! I remember meeting Bobby for the first time too and thinking what a great guy he was but of course you already know that about him. 10 years...wow. That wedding seems like it was yesterday. Even though I am a CT girl, I'm dreaming of the warm weather too. That also means your visit is getting closer :)So good to talk to you. I love you and I miss you!

Aren't date nights the greatest?? It's SO important to squeeze those in as often as you can. I know what you mean about being amazed at the time that's passed since your I Do's. Aren't we lucky to have the wonderful husbands we have? :)

Hugs
Abby

Kristin! The girls are getting so big. I was taken back by their photo! Seems so suddenly- your Emily looks like such a big girl. Wow! Love the photo of you and the hubby. You two are such a beautiful couple. You can just see the love there. I tell you, it's an inspiration for me...that it is really out there and yes, it can be real & lasting! Happy to see your pretty face! Much happiness and love to you and the family.
