Waking up in Austin

This is the second morning of waking up in Austin. The move this weekend was enormously tiring and I am so glad the hard part is over. Now, the tedious part of putting things where they belong, decorating, etc..is going on. Hopefully, we can get that done in the next few days, and we can get back to normal life - and I can get back to my art and the visiting of all my bloggy friends!!

The picture above shows a deer out by our garden shed, taken just moments ago.

I feel so lucky to be calling this house "home" for a year. There are so many deer running through this property, and there are a lot of acres for us to explore. Allie and Emily have already taken me on numerous expeditions. It is fun being a kid again.

So, give me a few more days of settling - and you will see me again!

Hope you all are well in your part of the world!

Wow...it looks amazing. I am SO jealous!!! I wish we lived on land with a house on it rather than a house on what feels like pavement. Hopefully you all will get everything done quickly and hopefully you are feeling better!

How nice! It's a lot better to see the deer in the backyard instead of trying to cross the Merritt Parkway!

And I am SOOOO jealous of your garden shed. I want it!
